DIVING ASSOCIATION of FUVAHMULAH

The objectives of Diving Association of Fuvahmulah is to preserve the delicate ecosystem of beaches, sea and reefs that surround the island of Fuvahmulah. 

To spread awareness among the general public with regards to the fragile environment and the negative impacts of pollution. This includes raising awareness among the younger generation especially children, educating them on the marine life that call this environment their home and sustainable solutions to counter the damages of pollution and the irresponsible human acts towards devastation  of natural resources. In addition, We hope to ensure the continuation of the natural beauty and resources of the island, together with providing protection for the diverse and delicate ecosystem surrounding Fuvahmulah.

To have sustainable diving operations and fishing in Fuvahmulah, we will be working with relevant parties to strengthen safety regulations within the context of existing laws on swimming, snorkeling, diving and other water related sports.
